چکیده
Poly(ethylene glycol) diacrylate (PEGDA) hydrogels are ubiquitously used in a wide variety of applications tissue engineering. In this study, the thermal response multi-layered PEGDA was investigated under various conditions temperature-controlled environments (8, 20, 37, and 45 °C) through gravimetric volumetric methods. These were produced using computer-controlled projection lithography compared to monolithic fabricated bulk photo-crosslinking. It observed that volume increased about 10% at temperature 8 °C, while their decreased by 8% 12% when stored 37 °C respectively. hydrogel also showed an anisotropic characteristic where axial dimensional change 43% higher than lateral dimension. This finding is critical inform design fabrication compensate for changes during application different temperatures.

Reversible Ag(+)-crosslinked DNA hydrogels.
DNA hydrogels, consisting of Y-shaped nucleic acid subunits or of nucleic acid-functionalized acrylamide chains, undergo switchable gel-to-solution transitions. The Ag(+)-stimulated formation of cytosine-Ag(+)-cytosine complexes results in the crosslinking of the units to yield the hydrogels, while the cysteamine-induced elimination of the Ag(+) ions dissociates the hydrogels into a solution ph...
متن کاملClick-Crosslinked Injectable Gelatin Hydrogels.
Injectable gelatin hydrogels formed with bioorthogonal click chemistry (ClickGel) are cell-responsive ECM mimics for in vitro and in vivo biomaterials applications. Gelatin polymers with pendant norbornene (GelN) or tetrazine (GelT) groups can quickly and spontaneously crosslink upon mixing, allowing for high viability of encapsulated cells, establishment of 3D elongated cell morphologies, and ...

The ability of cells to migrate in response to mechanical gradients (durotaxis) and differential cell behavior in adhesion, spreading, and proliferation in response to substrate rigidity are key factors both in tissue engineering, in which materials must be selected to provide the appropriate mechanical signals, and in studies of mechanisms of diseases such as cancer and atherosclerosis, in whi...
متن کاملUV-Vis/FT-NIR in situ monitoring of visible-light induced polymerization of PEGDA hydrogels initiated by eosin/triethanolamine/O2.
In conjunction with a tertiary amine coinitiator, eosin, a photoreducible dye, has been shown to successfully circumvent oxygen inhibition in radical photopolymerization reactions. However, the role of O2 in the initiation and polymerization processes remains inconclusive. Here, we employ a UV-Vis/FT-NIR analytical tool for real-time, simultaneous monitoring of chromophore and monomer reactive ...
متن کاملPreparation of DNA-crosslinked polyacrylamide hydrogels.
Mechanobiology is an emerging scientific area that addresses the critical role of physical cues in directing cell morphology and function. For example, the effect of tissue elasticity on cell function is a major area of mechanobiology research because tissue stiffness modulates with disease, development, and injury. Static tissue-mimicking materials, or materials that cannot alter stiffness onc...
